A computerized telescope!!!

What a surprise. A computerized telescope!!! Our 7nd year old boy was happy to start on his homework. Dad had promised the boy that he could look in the telescope after he was done with his homework. I have never seen the boy do his homework as fast as this evening.

The package were opened in no time. The pices were put together in just some minutes. And there it was. The fantastic computerized telescope!!! What a view! 

We all circled around waiting on our turn to see the univers, the rings of the Saturn, The Red Spot that we had talked about.... The craters of the Moon.... an so on...

And then we realized that this was something advanced piece of dog shitt as my 7nd year old said!! It was a computerized telescope and needed to be filled up and loaded with some kind of  information on beforehand.
What a dissapointment!!!

My 7nd year old had to go to bed before he had as much as watched the moon. And his dad has spend 4 hours infront of his computer already without as much as spotting a star. Well, at least we know what to do in the following weekend. We have got a HOBBY!!!
